1. How I came up with the concept of Capital Freight Management:

Initially it was just a dream.

But after more than a decade working in the freight management industry, I was finally able to turn my dream into a reality.

I received my first opportunity to work in logistics when I was 24; I was the shipping manager for a small calibration lab. From there I built my career working with other companies where I held various roles: Vessel Superintendent, Director of LTL Operations, and VP of Sales. I enjoyed the challenge of helping companies move their product from Point A to Point B as efficiently and inexpensively as possible and each of my job experiences gave me more insight into how to do that.

I knew I eventually wanted to provide that service through my own company though and no matter where I was, that goal was never far from my mind. So, after gaining experience in key areas of my industry, I was in the right position to finally start my own company.

2. Ambition:

I want small and mid-sized businesses to have the same access to superior freight management that the “big boys” get. By acting as our client’s shipping department, we allow them to do what they do best (build and sell their product) while we do what we do best (handle all of their freight supply chain needs).

We do this by utilizing state of the art software, reduced shipping rates, and industry expertise. We have tremendous respect for small businesses throughout the US that work hard every day to create quality products for their customers. We want to help them move those products across the globe as fast and easy as possible.
