Company: TicketLeap

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

1. How I came up with the concept of TicketLeap:

I came up with the concept of TicketLeap to help out a friend who wanted an easy way to sell tickets for an event when I was an undergrad at Wharton (University of Pennsylvania).

Due to the size of his event, he had been turned down by Ticketmaster. That’s when I realized that smaller event organizers, especially live event venues, needed a new and innovative way to sell tickets to their customers that catered to their unique needs, instead of what was mandated by traditional ticketing platforms.
TicketLeap was founded in 2003 in Wharton’s VIP program, and since then, we’ve worked tirelessly to create an easier, more powerful ticketing platform.

2. Ambition:

To eliminate the hassle and annoyance (many of us experience) of buying tickets. I’m working with a great team to deliver a great product, and we’re trying to make the experience of buying tickets to your favorite concert or event as fun and social as we possibly can.

3. One day I hope to:

Fire Donald Trump. Just kidding.
I love traveling and would like to run a company from the road. Every day people are becoming more and more accustomed to non-traditional work environments – and since the Internet is everywhere, “anywhere” can be my office.

4. Current obsession:

Ridiculous shows on the History Channel. Storage Wars, Pawn Stars, and American Digger. I refer to these shows as “business entertainment” and I’ve been watching way too many of them late at night.
