Have you set goals for your business over the next twelve months? If so, you’re not alone. Goal setting no matter how big or small is an essential ongoing process. “Goals in writing are dreams with deadlines,” as author and motivational speaker, Brian Tracy once exclaimed.

Some may ask, “Is goal setting really necessary?” People may contend that goals are unimportant, but most successful entrepreneurs realize that they are critical. “The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score (Copeland).”

4. Stay on top of your goals daily and track progress.

It’s easy to loose sight of your goals throughout the year. We are all guilty of putting the ‘urgent’ before the ‘important’ or procrastinating to the very last minute. For some entrepreneurs, tomorrow is the busiest day of the year. But, successful people have one thing in common – their ability to set, activate and complete goals.

No matter where you’re at, today is the perfect time to check one more goal off your list. Start tracking goals and managing deadlines with these five tools. Read more

5. Celebrate small victories and stay inspired.

Cultivate your network, become more customer-centric, operate with character, be adaptable, seize opportunities and seek out ways to become better in business.
