Spirit Junkie Gabrielle Bernstein Wants To Adds More~ing To the World

Featured in the New York Times Sunday Style section as the "next generation guru," motivational speaker, life coach and author Gabrielle Bernstein is a tour de force.

Thriving entrepreneurs understand and develop an awareness of a few simple truths: positive thinking, habits, decisions and actions build successful people and in turn powerful businesses.

Super achievers, trail blazers, and young guns all embody one common denominator–a vision that controls their destiny and lifestyle. For people without a vision, their destiny and lifestyle is ultimately controlled by others. For the former, simply put… they are motivated.

Motivation is defined as the activation or energization of goal-orientated behavior. Motivation is said to be intrinsic (natural) or extrinsic (external). Some people are naturally motivated within and others need an extra push.

According to the experts, motivation from outside influences has been shown to lead to more positive outcomes, such as wellbeing, increased productivity and satisfaction. This is why, no matter where you’re at on the motivational curve, it is important to surround yourself with like-minded people.

American Author Napoleon Hill said it best, “The whole world steps aside for the man who knows where he is going.” Fast forward to 2010 and step aside for the woman who is on a clear path of hip happiness–Gabrielle Bernstein.

When you consider the pure essence of fearless empowerment and entrepreneurial gusto, Bernstein is sure to rise to the top of the list. How I Got Started

I was closing my first business SparkPlug PR while in the midst of major life shift. I’d been speaking publicly for five years. As my life shifted my lecture topics shifted too. I was inspired to share an empowering message of happiness and life changing tools.

Therefore I started a business as a coach and motivational speaker. Fast forward, and several years later I published my first book Add More ~ing to Your Life and launched Her Future – a Social Networking Site for young women to find mentors.

Best Success Story

I started my first business at twenty-one with no business background. This alone is a success in my mind, though I’m proud of all of my accomplishments. Most of all I’m proud that my works are of service to the world.

Biggest Startup Challenge

In my first business I had a partner and my biggest challenge was managing that relationship. Our ego’s were majorly in the way. We were young and clueless. This made for a tough business relationship.

I’m proud to say that we’ve put the past behind us and are great friends today. In retrospect I see that we needed to clearly identify our roles and stick to what we did best, rather than try to do it all.

#1 Tips for Entrepreneurs

Do whatever you can to overcome your fearful limiting beliefs. Fear is the only thing that stands in your way of success. If you’re committed to establishing faith in your work, you’ll be unstoppable.
